Workshops and Education

Our workshops and education sessions offer an interactive, inclusive and creative space to gain reflexive and practical, evidence-based knowledge and tools to support accessible uses of music within the perinatal, early parenting and motherhood support space.

The focus is on supporting vital musical connections as a tool to attune, regulate, strengthen and advocate for individuals, families and communities to flourish in their own health and well-being at such a critical time of development and growth.

These workshops can be offered to parents, families, health professionals or educators and may be delivered in-person or online. Possible topics may include:

  • ‘Your voice, your baby’: Prenatal music to connect and nourish yourself and your baby during pregnancy

  • ‘Sound beginnings’: Early years music for parents and infants through an attachment lens

  • Neuroprotective music for hospitalised infants and their families

  • The role of intentional music listening to support emotional regulation and wellbeing (for Parents/Health professionals/Educators)

  • Embodied Musicking practices in and across Motherhood

  • Vital musical beginnings: Early years music training workshop for educators

*Custom workshops and professional development events can be individually requested and tailored to meet the requirements and interest of your team or organisation. Please reach out to discuss.
