Supporting mother's, families and communities to flourish through vital musical connections

What is Music Therapy?

Music therapy is a research-based allied health profession in which music is used to actively support people as they aim to improve their health, functioning and wellbeing. It can help people of all ages to manage their physical and mental health and enhance their quality of life (Australian Music Therapy Association, 2023).

Vital Voices acknowledges the Traditional Owners of this land of the Wadawurrung people.

We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging, who have used music, song and dance for thousands of generations as a way of supporting health, healing, spirituality and wellbeing on these lands. This was and always will be Aboriginal Land.

Vital Voices embraces diversity and is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all.
